Known as The Renegade Lunch Lady, Ann Cooper is dedicated to improving how kids in the U.S. eat. She is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has been a chef for more than 30 years, at both fancy hotels and public schools. She has written four books including: Lunch Lessons: Changing the Way We Feed Our Children (2006). She also created The Lunch Box - a web portal that provides free and accessible tools, recipes and community connections to support school food reform.
