Melora Hardin is perhaps most recognized for her on-going portrayal of ‘Jan Levinson’ on the hit NBC series “The Office,” Melora Hardin’s impressive career spans a variety of mediums, including numerous television series, films, live concerts and music albums.  On television, she is also well known for portraying Tony Shaloub’s dead wife in the hit USA Network series “Monk.”  In April 2009, Hardin starred in two high-profile feature films, “Seventeen Again” opposite Zac Efron, and “Hannah Montana: The Movie” both debuting #1 at the box office on back-to-back weekends.  Her other big screen credits include: “Thank You for Smoking,” “27 Dresses”, “The Comebacks,” “The Hot Chick,” “Soul Man” and “Absolute Power” with Clint Eastwood & Gene Hackman.  On stage, she played the lead role of ‘Fantine’ in the August 2008 Hollywood Bowl concert rendition of “Les Misérables,” directed by Richard Jay-Alexander.  She followed that performance by making her Broadway stage debut earlier this year starring as ‘Roxie Hart’ in“CHICAGO.”  As of late, Hardin directed her first feature film entitled, “YOU,” which released in May ‘09 and is continuing to sell online via Amazon.com & iTunes (www.youthefilm.com). Melora will bring Jan back to The Office this year in 2010 and she most recently began filming Jimmy Smits new NBC drama, recurring as Claire, on Fridays at 10pm PT called "OUTLAW". Hardin currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband actor/writer, Gildart Jackson, and their two young daughters.  (www.melora.com
