Using the bed of his old pick-up truck, filmmakers Ian Cheney and Curt Ellis (of King Corn) start their own CSA on the streets of Brooklyn. Cheney drills holes into his truck to facilitate drainage, then outfits it with a root barrier, erosion blanket, and drainage mat to transform his vehicle into a mobile garden bed. The truck bed is then filled with six inches worth of organic compost consisting of Styrofoam, clay, sand, and silt. By installing solar panels on the roof of the truck Cheney is able to run a camera that is programmed to take 12 pictures of the truck each hour.
