Her solution is to always keep a little bag of trail mix in your bag – she calls it the Pregnancy Pantry To-Go.

Her trail mix snack includes the following ingredients, but feel free to add and subtract ingredients:

Dried pineapple – digestive enzymes
Dried apple- pectin which helps with digestion
Pumpkin seeds – zinc which is important for early fetal development
Papaya – digestive enzymes
Cashews – high in protein and good fats
Pecans – high in protein and good fats
Raisins – sweetness
