Infant Food Nutrition: Quinoa and Apple

A yummy recipe for baby food: cut up two organic apples, boil for about ten minutes; cook ½ cup quinoa (don’t forget to rinse!) with 1 ½ cups water, covered, for about ten minutes. Puree the two together in a blender, with about ¼ c. filtered boiled water. Freeze in ice cube tray, use within a month. Why make your own and freeze? Consider why you choose frozen peas over canned peas: better taste, better look, more nutritious.

Parent Earth note: The host of this video is Kalpna Solanki, of Bobobaby, a company that also sells frozen organic baby food. They are not sponsors of Parent Earth.
